|

options SEMMNS=512 # number of semaphores in system
|
|
options SEMUME=256 # max number of undo entries per process
|
|
options SHMMAXPGS=4096 # 2048 pages is the default
|
|
|
|
Or use sysctl to set the same options.

|
|
If you want to use firebird from inetd, use the following:

|
|
|
Put this to /etc/services:
|
|
gds_db 3050/tcp #InterBase Database Remote Protocol
|
|
|
|
Put this to /etc/inetd.conf:
|
|
gds_db stream tcp nowait firebird ${PREFIX}/bin/fb_inet_server fb_inet_server
