Payara Server is a drop-in replacement for GlassFish Server Open Source Edition

4.1. It implements the Java EE 7 specification, including JPA 2.1, JAX-RS 2.0,
|
|
Servlets 3.1, JMS 2.0, JSF 2.2, EJB 3.2, CDI 1.1, JCache, and other features.
|
|
|
|
In addition, Payara offers several features not included in the Java EE 7
|
|
specification or in the Glassfish implementation. For example, Payara
|
|
integrates Hazelcast for clustering and also provides enhanced SQL and other
|
|
monitoring tools.
|
|
|
|
Payara server is released quarterly under a CDDL and GNU license.
|
|
|
|
This package tracks the 4.x release branch.
